EveryOtherDayDiet – An Introduction
It is unfortunate that obesity has become such a big problem in the world today. There are so many people that are overweight and so many people searching for a way to lose weight that will work. In this article we are going to take a look at the EveryOtherDayDiet that has become quite popular recently.
Different diets take different approaches to weight loss and one problem that seems to occur in many diets is that a person will start of doing really well and lose weight, but at some stage will hit a plateau and will then really struggle to lose anymore weight. Often when this happens the person is still not near their ideal weight and really do still need to lose more weight.
The Every Other Day Diet book was written by Jon Benson so himself had a weight problem and struggled to overcome it. Jon did find a solution to his weight problem and also a solution to the dreaded plateau.
With the everyotherdaydiet program Jon uses a method that maximizes the body’s metabolic rate and avoids hitting a weight loss plateau. You see the main reason that a person’s weight loss will plateau is because the body realizes that you are on a diet and eating differently and it will adjust your metabolism to suit your new eating habits. Once your metabolism adjusts to your new eating habits you are burning off less calories and therefore struggle to lose anymore weight.
So the trick is not to let your body know that you have changed your eating habits and Jon has discovered how to do this with his calorie shifting type diet.
As with any diet, you need to combine the dieting program in the everyotherdaydiet book along with some regular exercise and you should successfully lose weight and keep on losing weight until you reach your goal weight.
Of course, you do need to be determined to stick with this program and not give in to temptation too often which will lead you back to your old eating habits. Fortunately with Jon’s program, because you don’t hit that dreaded plateau and stop losing weight, it is much easier to stay motivated and determined until you reach your chosen weight.
